Direct Interiors is a one-stop-shop for all residential and commercial furniture and décor needs with 37 years of experience! Our furniture showroom houses 2-floors of quality designer furniture that can be customized to our clients’ preferences.

In addition, we are also known for our exquisite interior design services. With highly talented in-house interior-stylists and draperies expert, we can help with floor plans, room layouts, color coordination and furniture selections that reflect the lifestyle and preferences of our clients.

We are currently seeking an energetic goal oriented professional to work the front desk and engage with incoming customers on a FULL-TIME basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve customers by greeting, welcoming and directing them to Sales Associates based on our UP System. We will train the right candidate on how to work the UP System.
  • Engage customers, uncovering their furnishing needs and help make their purchasing experience a great one.
  • Provide wonderful customer service, and build a long-lasting rapport with customers.
  • The ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent listening skills.
  • Handle customer concerns with ease and a friendly manner
  • Responsible for finalizing customer purchases at the point of sale and ensuring all mandated policies are signed and collected at the point of purchase
  • Ensure all calls and customers are greeted in a timely and welcoming fashion to initiate positive visits
  • Supporting the sales department – preparing for appointments, answering phone calls, and process inbound and outbound emails.
  • Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Energetic, self-motivated sales professional with exceptional interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
  • Ability to network and build relationships with customers
  • Fast paced and quick learner
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with pressure appropriately
  • Willingness to adapt for the changing requirements of the business
  • Computer skills: competency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • MUST possess strong organization, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively during stressful situations
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal skills)
  • Passion for home furnishing and interior design
  • Previous 2-3+ years of customer service experience in a retail setting is required
  • Bilingual applicants a plus

Store Hours:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9:30AM to 5:30PM
  • Wednesday: 9:30AM to 9:00PM
